India-Middle East-Europe corridor to be ‘equivalent to Silk Route, Spice Route put together’: Saudi minister

Saudi Arabian investment minister Khalid Al-Falih has described the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEE EC) as being "equivalent to the Silk Route and Spice Route put together." He believes that the corridor, which will connect India to Europe via the Middle East, will be historically significant. Al-Falih highlighted the importance of new energy, data, connectivity, human resources, and aviation routes in this project.
