40-year legal tangle: Man let off, convicted, acquitted

Forty years after he was arrested on murder charges, the Supreme Court acquitted a man who had been convicted by the high court in 2008 and sentenced to life imprisonment. The HC had overturned a 1987 verdict by the trial court which had cleared the man of all charges.
