PM Modi to visit HAL in Bengaluru tomorrow to review manufacturing facility

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) site in Bengaluru to review their manufacturing facility for Tejas jets. The Indian Air Force recently issued a tender to HAL for the purchase of 12 Su-30MKI fighter jets, which will be manufactured in India in partnership with Russian original equipment manufacturers. In a boost to India's defense sector, engines for the LCA Mark 2 and the first two squadrons of the indigenous AMCA will be produced domestically by American GE and HAL.
