Social media cos to file action-taken reports each month

Social media companies such as Facebook, Google, WhatsApp, Twitter and YouTube will be publishing monthly transparency reports on their websites in India in line with the new IT rules. This would detail the action undertaken by the companies to remove unlawful content and listen to user grievances.
