India successfully launches Chandrayaan-2; enters 4-nation club

On July 22, 2019, Indian Space Research Organisation’s GSLV-MkIII carrying Chandrayaan-2 lifted off from Sriharikota and injected into a geostationary transfer orbit the lunarcraft comprising an orbiter, a lander and a rover.
