India to have maximum number of births on New Year day

Globally, around 18% of total baby births is estimated to take place in India, as the United Nation predicts that the country will produce as many as 69,944 babies on New Year’s day. India followed by China and Nigeria with 44,940 babies and 25,685 babies respectively. Pakistan is fourth with 15,112 babies, then Indonesia with 13,256 babies and USA- 10,086 babies.
