CBI opposes Asthana plea on quashing FIR

CBI said in court that there was incriminating material against the accused in the case, the investigation of which was at a nascent stage. It also maintained that no prior sanction was needed to investigate the alleged offences. It opposed the plea of additional SP S S Gurm to have a say in the matter.
