Mamata remembers martyrs of 'Khadya Andolan'

Remembering the martyrs of 1959 Khadya Andolan, Bengal chief Minister Mamta Banerjee said that her government provides food security to 90% of the people through the Khadya Sathi scheme. Bengal witnessed a mass movement in the late 1958 by the then undivided CPI and other left groups protesting against food crisis.
