Assam flood toll mounts to 11, over 5 lakh people affected

Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) officials said two people died due to floods in Cachar and Hailakandi areas while 548,986 people from 719 villages in Nagaon, Hojai, Golaghat, Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts were badly hit.
