5-member SIT to probe Ludhiana gas leak deaths

Ludhiana police Monday constituted a five-member special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the toxic gas leak in Giaspura that killed 11 people and landed four others in hospital the previous morning. Effluents illegally dumped into sewers are believed to have led to the spread of the poison gas.
