Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren gets Election Commission notice over mining lease

The Election Commission has issued a notice to Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren asking him to explain why disqualification proceedings should not be initiated against him over grant of a mining lease in his favour last year. He became the CM for the second time in 2019.
