Major General to head court of inquiry

The Army has begun a court of inquiry headed by a Major General to probe the circumstances under which the botched operation by the 21 Para-Special Forces took place in Mon district of Nagaland on Saturday evening. It will also examine the so-called “credible intelligence” on the basis of which the special forces detachment led by a Major was deployed for the operation.
