Tribunal on Vansadhara river water sharing between Odisha and AP gets another extension as new Bill eluded Parliament

The Vansadhara Water Disputes Tribunal, constituted in February 2010 to resolve river water sharing dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, has got one-year extension. This extension is an immediate fallout of the government's inability to push the Inter-State River Water Disputes (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in the Rajya Sabha.
