How J&K's special status was 'diluted' over the years

While Article 370 envisaged that nothing outside of Article 1 and Article 370 of the Indian Constitution would be applicable to J&K, over the years successive governments have extended the bulk of Constitutional Acts and amendments to the state, which arguably achieved the effect of ‘one nation, one constitution’ even before Monday’s announcement to override Article 370.
