‘Opposition fears political price, won’t hail UN move’

Calling the move a great diplomatic victory for India, finance minister Arun Jaitley said the NDA government had succeeded in something the country had been trying for the last 10 years. Addressing a press conference, he said there was a tradition in the country to speak in one voice on issues such as external affairs and national security but there was a departure from it in the last few years.
