Mallya moves HC against order being declared FEO, HC seeks ED reply by March 8

In Mumbai, his counsel Amit Desai began making submissions on Friday before the HC bench of Justices Indrajit Mahanty and Sarang Kotwal to challenge an order dated January 5 of the special trial court on a plea of the Enforcement Directorate to declare Mallya an FEO. The ED counsel Hiten Venegaonkar objected to Mallya having breached a 30-day limit in filing the appeal and said it should have been accompanied with a plea for condonation of delay.
