India defers meet on Kartarpur over Khalistani backers

Concerned by the appointment of Khalistan supporters to a Pakistani committee on the Kartarpur initiative, India decided to postpone the April 2 meeting with Pakistani officials meant to finalise modalities to open the corridor for pilgrimage. The government also expressed dissatisfaction to Pakistan over the latter's "indifference'' to some proposals made by India for the corridor.
