Key terror training facility decimated at Balakot after Pulwama attack

Unlike the 2016 surgical strike on launch pads in PoK which were a pinpointed response to the attack that killed 19 Army personnel at its Uri camp, the response to the Pulwama attack on a CRPF convoy did not stop at hitting the perpetrator’s assets in Pakistan. The counter-action over the past 12 days has seen an operation against top Jaish leaders based in Pulwama, a diplomatic offensive against Pakistan, a crackdown on sympathisers and supporters of Pakistan-based terror organisations in the Hurriyat, rounding up of overground workers and arrest of several Jamaat leaders in the Valley.
