Man dies as Kashmir shivers at minus 7.7°C

Authorities recovered the body from an orchard in Mattan region in the afternoon. Cops said the man was mentally challenged and had been seen wandering in the area for the last three days. Pahalgam was the Valley’s coldest place at -9.5°C while Gulmarg, Kashmir’s skiing haven, recorded a minimum temperature of -9.3°C.
