IAF, Navy join operation to rescue trapped Meghalaya miners

Three weeks of work by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force couldn't rescue 15 workers trapped in a flooded rat-hole coal mine in Meghalaya. IAF transport plane carrying 7 high-powered pumps and heavy tools reached Guwahati.
