Chidambaram's charges baseless, irresponsible: BJP

Chidambaram had earlier said the state of India's economy was bad due to the wrong policies of the NDA government. Javadekar said India remained the fastest-growing major economy in every year of the NDA rule and had clocked a growth rate of 7.7 per cent in the last quarter.
